My love affair with vintage designer sunglasses

You could call it an obsession... my passion for luxury vintage designer sunglasses knows no bounds! I find it impossible to resist iconic styles from the 1970's and 1980's from designers Ted Lapidus, Christian Dior, Christian Dior Monsieur, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Emmanuelle Khanh, Leonard Paris, and Anne Klein for Riviera.

I consider a fabulous signature pair of drop dead chic vintage shades to be an essential finishing touch for capturing the laid back glam style favored by desert dwellers.

Over my years as a boutique owner in the Palm Springs area, I have curated a unique collection of continuously rotating rare vintage styles and mint condition deadstock.

Our more loved and worn vintage pairs are lovingly cleaned and rehabbed, replacing scratched or prescription lenses with new UVA/UVB protection lenses in the characteristic fade of the eyewear's original era.

My personal all-time favorite styles include the iconic hexagonal TL 10 and oversize rectangular TL 07 styles by Ted Lapidus. Both are staples that we always have in stock at the boutique, often in rare colors and variations such as diamanté detailing.

The Palm Springs lifestyle is one of color, style, and low-key glamour. Shop like a local, visit Candice Held Palm Springs and find your own signature pair of vintage designer sunnies!
